Marriage Ceremony Information

Magistrate performs wedding ceremonies on:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- 10:00am to 3:30pm
Weddings may be performed:
- In the Magistrate Court
- Outside, near the cabins on Hanselman Street and South Street (weather permitting)
- Outside, under the pergola on East Huron Avenue (weather permitting)
- Inside the cabins on Hanselman Street and South Street
- Fee is required.

You must call ahead to reserve a date and time. (Last name and daytime phone number required)
To schedule a ceremony, call the Magistrate Division at (989) 269-7201
On the day of the ceremony, you will need to bring the following:
- Marriage License (obtained at County Clerk’s Office)
- Two witnesses over the age of 18 (If you are unable to provide witnesses, they may be provided upon request)
- $10.00 fee
- Tips and gratuities are prohibited by law.
